A room containing the radical absence of certainty

It occurs to me that these are not the same thing. I am interested in uncertainty, as much as the radical absence of certainty. Perhaps that absence is a precursor to a more robust, more positive (that which posits) and more fully formed uncertainty? I am not sure, but it seems like uncertainty is a ‘thing’, while the absence of certainty is merely an absence. Splitting hairs? Perhaps.
